Senior Creative Team urban/football (12341)

London

Permanent

£70,000 - £70,000

+

Great conceptual work a must (more about story-telling and fresh ideas; less about digital innovation – which itself is a nice to have) – big ideas.

Sports knowledge and passion important with a leaning to football.

Must know and understand the culture that surrounds sports/football and how it interjects with the audience – music, sneakers, fashion, style, design – and understand the appeal and culture of athletes.

Must have a good understanding of the media the urban 14-20 year old global audience digest – heavy focus on IG, less so Twitter/FB.

Sports/football related work a nice to have but not essential.

The role is 90% as a creative team who want to do the best work of their lives in a hard-working, tight knit crack-unit team – the other 10% might see the writer take on small copy briefs for social media, app cards, etc.

The writer needs to have a great command of English and be down with the tone of voice.

The art director – would be nice if they were fairly sufficient in photoshop/illustrator for visuals and presentation decks.

Looking for a team with experience of actually making working – production know-how is important (we make a lot of work, do a lot of shoots) – people that want to make, not just throw big ideas into the ether.

This is not a brief to find social media/digital-only story tellers – high level, big-idea story-telling is a must. A team that understands the power of Brand but know how young people see, view and experience both their own brand and brands in the world.

Richmond, City of London

Permanent

£50,000 - £55,000

+

Our client is a well established brand experience agency. Initially based outside of London, the agency grew and gained reputation, however steady growth and a lack of local talent forced the agency move nearer London and they have now settled in Richmond. New directors and a creative department have seen the agency’s creative output blossom and elevate the current offering to new levels of excellence. The agency is now around 30-35 people, with a quite a number of freelancers.

Their current senior designer is leaving after 4 years in the business. Whilst he has created some fantastic work, the agency feels it needs to bring in a heavy-hitter, a lead designer/HoD with a more versatile approach; hungry, edgy, entrepreneurial and proactive. The client wants to see designers from all backgrounds and are totally open to seeing people that want to really embrace the opportunity and help grow and lead a team, whilst pushing the boundaries of the visual output. This person will be overseeing the resource and managing freelancers, they usually have 2-3 freelance designers and the same number of artworkers. Being client-facing you will also be comfortable selling in and standing by your ideas to board level.
