£35,000 - £38,000

Very exciting role for an experienced Social Media Manager at a leading integrated Agency. Working closely with the Senior Social Engagement Manager, Head of Strategy and the wider team of a leading integrated Agency for a fast food chain.

You will be working with different teams to understand and develop social concepts, manage the production process and deliver for publication. This is a great chance to gain exposure to the agency as a whole as you will be the driving force behind the campaign.

The project is the largest in the Agency and as such this is a great opportunity to partner with the client to deliver, what is for them, also the biggest and most popular project they run!

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE AGENCY
We are looking for a social media innovator, who is happy having strategic conversations, coupled with strong executional skill. You will have a best-practise mindset gained in an agency environment and be able to spot opportunities to join the dots and provide thought-leadership expertise.

Digging deeper on the details

Packaging designer (Sydney, Australia)

Sydney, New South Wales

Permanent

£30,000 - £50,000

+

Our client is a packaging design agency based in Sydney. They are finding it increasingly difficult to find staff from the Australian talent pool so they are now looking to the UK for talent.

The agency is independently-owned (by the two lead designers), has been operating since 1994, currently employs around 18 people with space for up to 25, is located close to Sydney’s CBD in a heritage-listed warehouse conversion. Their clients are global and multi-nationals. Their work tends to be through repeats, word of mouth and client referrals, and theirr client base has slowly expanded organically from their Sydney-centric base as product managers (and production) have moved offshore.

In particular they are looking for packaging design specialists to work on FMCG accounts.

From an immigration point of view, the easiest scenario would be to take someone initially on a working holiday visa. These are available to various nationalities including UK, USA, Canada, Ireland and most European countries for persons aged 20 to 31. This visa lasts for 12 months. They would offer employment with a three-month probation period, after which we could apply for a 457 Visa which allows employment for two years, with the option to apply to extend for a further two years. Thereafter, there is conjecture as to which professions will offer residency and citizenship (at the moment graphic design does not).

They currently employ staff from Australia, Korea, Vietnam, China, Indonesia and the UK – a reflection of Australian multiculturalism. Obviously, this could involve a relocation aspect (and some work on our part to facilitate visas etc); but it could also offer an opportunity to travel and experience a new culture and lifestyle.

In the past, some of their most successful employees have been Australians returning ‘home’ after some UK experience and this could offer another avenue of exploration.

Mid-Senior Creative Team

London

Permanent

£45,000 - £55,000

+

Mid-Senior Creative Team –

These roles don’t come around very often. The role is based with a London based tier one agency working on a major sporting and fashion brand. The bias of the role is football.

Great conceptual work a must (more about story-telling and fresh ideas; less about digital innovation – which itself is a nice to have) – big ideas.

Sports knowledge and passion important with a leaning to football.

Must know and understand the culture that surrounds sports/football and how it interjects with the client audience – music, sneakers, fashion, style, design – and understand the appeal and culture of athletes.

Looking for a team with experience of actually making working – production know-how is important – people that want to make, not just throw big ideas into the ether.

The role is for a creative team who want to do the best work of their lives in a hard-working, tight knit crack-unit team.
